Use of Implanted Data Chips IN HUMANS Stirs Debate on Privacy -->
Edited on Wed Mar-15-06 10:48 AM by Dr. Jones
Wow, I did NOT know this was so widespread. I have read the Book of Revelation in the past about that mark of the beast thing, never really gave it much thought. Until now.

Revelation 13:16-18
And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

So according to this scripture, this mark of the beast thing will be a new form of identification technology where everybody is "numbered" and a new monetary system (after a worldwide economic crash) where if you don't have this "mark" you cannot buy or sell. Given several more increasingly deadly weather events, earthquakes, or terrorist attacks, this thing could REALLY catch on to the point where they will make it MANDATORY. All in the name of national security!

Not saying this IS any kind of "mark of the beast" for sure, just sayin' - wow, how eerie...

Use of Implanted Patient-Data Chips Stirs Debate on Medicine vs. Privacy

By Rob Stein
Washington Post Staff Writer
Wednesday, March 15, 2006; Page A01

When Daniel Hickey's doctor suggested he have a microchip implanted under his skin to provide instant access to his computerized medical record, the 77-year-old retired naval officer immediately agreed. "If you're unconscious and end up in the emergency room, they won't know anything about you," Hickey said. "With this, they can find out everything they need to know right away and treat you better." The maker of the VeriChip implant, about the size of a grain of rice, is targeting hospitals in the D.C. area.

Some doctors are welcoming the technology as an exciting innovation that will speed care and prevent errors. But the concept alarms privacy advocates. They worry the devices could make it easier for unauthorized snoops to invade medical records. They also fear that the technology marks a dangerous step toward an Orwellian future in which people will be monitored using the chips or will be required to have them inserted for surveillance.

"It may seem innocuous, but the government and private corporations could use these devices to track people's movements," said Liz McIntyre, who co-wrote a book warning about the dangers of such radio-frequency identification (RFID) technology. "It may sound paranoid, but this is bound to be abused."

1. No way this can be a good thing
I think this could very well be the mark of the beast mentioned in The Bible. And with all the "accidental" privacy disclosures over the years, this could very well remove every semblance of privacy American citizens have left. If this is forced upon us, it will be further proof that the terrorists have won by altering the American lifestyle.

People need to give this a resounding

HELL NO!!!

3. But they won't. They'll buy the advantages angle.
They'll pretend that it's a benign step worth it because it saves them from medical errors. It's just a higher step up from all those other privacy-suspect devices like club cards, dashboard toll payment systems, GPS in cell phones...

2. This puts me in mind of the new MC or Visa
(I don't remember which) that has the one-touch charge system. It won't take much until they reduce it to an implant... I guess some people find it simply too taxing to remove a card from their wallet, swipe and sign.
And I agree, this type of technology is bound to be abused. :tinfoilhat:

4. yup. I'm not a big harper on revelations type christian, but I will NOT
have a chip implanted in me. 666 is not just a number, it represents submission to the beast, the antichrist.
I wouldn't even think about it if Bush were not doing his damndedst to BE the antichrist.

Police state USA and Big Brother's most cool tool

By Amy Worthington

03/01/06 "Idaho Observer" -- -- Senate Minority leader Harry Reid (D-NV) calls this Congress the "most corrupt" in history.1 U.S. Representative Ron Paul (R-TX) often uses the term "police state" to describe our national state of affairs. George Bush is making the most expansive claims to unbridled power since America’s War for Independence, according to Senator Patrick Leahy (D-VT).2 Former U.S. Ambassador Joseph Wilson, who proved Bush lied to launch us into war with Iraq, says "fascist forces have seized control of the levers of power."3 Americans are being told that their Republic has become a fascist police state—they just need ears to hear.

In a fascist police state, the dictator secures his power with support from private corporations which are given special privileges and, thus, benefit from doing business with dictators. Continuously bribed by 28,000 corporate lobbyists in D.C.,4 Congress is doing its part to build a fascist state in America. During President Bush’s recent State of the Union speech, these tainted legislators perpetually rose to their feet to applaud the spewing of what a New York Times editorial called "misleading analogies, propaganda slogans and false choices."5 Their bootlicking recalls a by-gone Soviet era when endless rows of robotic Central Party members applauded the likes of Stalin to ensure their next breath of oxygen.

<snip>

As injectable ID chips come on line, Homeland Security is paying numerous corporations to develop a national network of object-mounted wireless sensors that will be able to read implanted human chips.93 This network of sensors will eventually relay information on the whereabouts and activities of implantees to teams of surveillance specialists. Conceivably, every wall socket could become a reader for implanted chips. To quote University of Kansas professor Jerry Dobson, these devices will ultimately offer "a new form of human slavery based on location control. They pose the greatest threat to personal freedom ever faced in human history."

<snip>

Digital Angel: Fascist Big Brother’s most cool tool

Passive ID subdermal chips are the "good news" compared to grotesque ACTIVE implant chips also developed by ADS. The implantable Digital Angel is a grotesque communication device that can continually relay information wirelessly to either ground stations or to satellite systems.96 Developed to be a true tracking chip like the bulky radio ankle bracelets locked onto prisoners, it is tiny enough to be implanted into human flesh. The Angel has a built-in GPS receiver and a wireless transceiver. In December, 2004, ADS signed an agreement with the satellite telecommunications company ORBCOMM. Such collusion will one day turn implanted citizens into walking radio beacons, trackable by satellite.

Digital Angel is the ultimate in totalitarian control, to date Big Fascist Brother’s most "cool tool."
