Feingold out-maneuvered Hillary, Kerry, Bayh, Obama, and other...

Senators that were thinking of presidential politics. Why would he take political advantage and make them look indecisive in the process? So all the other Senators, who have different loyalties to other Senators thinking of running for President, were put in the uncomfortable position of supporting something that might make their "favorite" look less decisive than Senator Feingold. God forbid that one take advantage of a political situation on the floor of the US Senate. Why should Feingold get all the glory? This may not be as far-fetched as it might sound...?

But I'm also sure a lot of his colleagues are super pissed at him (and with good reason) and he will pay the price for that, as well.

But given the choice between a calculated, poll-driven politician and one who seems to say what he means and seems to mean what he says...

Actually, that doesn't always work out. But this can only bolster his appeal.

Because the senate works against unadulterated, uncompromising positions, either by culture or by it's rules and nature. Everyone looks like a weasel, voting for it before they voted against it.

Feingold broke the pattern.

7. Bullsh*t, he made a stupid move that could cost us a lot in the end.

He may have meant well, but he didn't think or plan this out well using his brain, another part of his anatomy may have been doing the thinking on this tactic.

he did what needed to be done, it is not his fault
the rest of the senators only found their balls after
getting lots of emails and phone calls.

10. Gee, okay, does this mean

that Kerry out-maneuvered Feingold on Alito? Can Hillary outmaneuver everyone on the bill she submitted to on preventive care on women's health care and contraceptives. (You know, dafe, legal and rare.)

We can go on and on. Or perhaps this will censure resolution will have the same backing of people on DU until something else comes along. (About two weeks seems to be the appropriate time frame, more or less.)
