Bush Rocks!!!11! (and raps a little.)
Edited on Fri Mar-17-06 09:25 PM by soonerhoosier
Show of hands. Who else remembers Dickie Goodman’s Watergate era novelty songs “Mr. President” and “Watergate?” They were what were known as “break-in” songs. Goodman played a reporter asking questions of the President or any number of other characters. The answers to the question would come in the form of a clip from a popular song and would make Nixon look goofy. Goodman was one of the earliest proponents of music sampling.

I present this entirely fictitious Bush break-in song.

DAVID GREGORY: President Bush, thank you for granting this interview. Your approval rating is at an all time low, Mr. President. How are you coping with that?

BUSH: If you got bad news, you wanna kick them blues; cocaine.

GREGORY: This week, Senator Russ Feingold of Wisconsin introduced a motion in the Senate calling for your censure. What is your response?

BUSH: Dude wanna hate on us (dude)
Dude need'a ease on up (dude)
Dude wanna act on up
But dude get shut like flavor shut (down)

GREGORY: What do you think Americans should say in response to continued domestic spying by the NSA?

BUSH: (I always feel like)
(Somebody's watching me)
And I have no privacy
Whooooa, oh-oh
(I always feel like)
(Somebody's watching me)

GREGORY: Even your fellow Republicans, like Senator Norm Coleman, are saying that you have a political tin ear, that your White House has been non-responsive. What do you say to that?

BUSH: I gotta shake it off
Cause the loving ain’t the same.

GREGORY: I’d like to ask you a question about the hunting accident in which Vice President Cheney was involved.

BUSH: Fuck all that yappin, we ’bout that gun clappin.

GREGORY: Why was your administration so lax in its response to Hurricane Katrina?

BUSH: George Bush don’t like black people.

GREGORY: Would you tell us what you remember most about your service in the National Guard during the Vietnam War?

BUSH: I ran, I ran so far away.
I just ran, I ran all night and day.
I couldn’t get away.

GREGORY: This week the White House released a new National Security Strategy report which reaffirms your commitment to the doctrine of preemptive war. In light of the quagmire in Iraq, why are you still committed to that policy?

BUSH: Iran, Iran so far away.

GREGORY: Mr. President, who authorized the leaking of CIA agent Valerie Plame’s identity?

BUSH: I did it.
Do you think I’ve gone too far?
I did it.
Guilty as charged.
I did it.
It was me right or wrong.
I did it.
Yeah.

GREGORY: Jeff Gannon, aka James Guckert, was given a White House press pass despite the fact that he had no journalism experience and was refused a congressional press pass. He made some 200 visits to the White House and many of those were overnight stays. What would you say to him if he were here?

BUSH: Nobody gonna love me better
I Must stickwitu
Forever
Nobody gonna take me higher
I Must stickwitu

GREGORY: What would you like for America to know about you that they don’t already know?

BUSH: I'm just a no-class beat down fool
And I will always be that way.

GREGORY: Something that they don’t already know. Mr. President.

BUSH: I'm a loser.
And I'm not what I appear to be.

GREGORY: Something that they DO NOT already know.

BUSH: We are the champions, my friend.
And we’ll keep on fighting till the end.

GREGORY: Never mind. This is David Gregory from the White House with President Bush. Back to you, Matt and Katie.

2. Thanks.
Most of the Photoshops are stolen from the internets, but I am a little proud of my Flock of Seagulls chop.

What this mis-administration needs is a cornball novelty song on mainstream radio. When that happens, then you'll know that their downfall is imminent.
