comes out? How low can he go? I don't think ANYONE is gonna go for having their offices or homes searched without a warrant (well, maybe a few koolaid drinkers, that same percentage that thinks Saddam did 9/11)

2. Supposed to be a story in US News & World Report on Mon, and
it will be up on their web site tomorrow night. I'd BET it will be a topic on cspan's WJ Sun, Mon, or Tues. too.

If it makes enough noise, it ust might hit the MSM too.

That was simply stunning. Perhaps the senate will be shamed into having hearings now!

3. Uh, if you mean we're ever gonna get any REAL answers as to
who was being spied on illegally, and why-- man, I hope you're right, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

7. I believe it is slowly seeping into people.... Americans do NOT
want to be spied on. And I think when they find out the Bush administration wanted to do warrantless physical searches of people and DID SO IN AT LEAST ONE CASE, they aren't gonna like it.

I look forward to below 30-maybe Bush will match Cheney.

5. If the warrantless wiretaps hit people upside the head like a 2 x 4
And woke them up, this is going to really piss them off. They barely held the last episode together enough to prevent an investigation.

But, in all fairness, BushCo & Republicans, Inc. are setting many precedents for the anti-gun liberal opposed to extreme right wing groups, who will be the next President of the United States.

10. brewing story
apparently US News and World Report will have a story online tomorrow night -- and on newstands Monday -- saying that Bushites were justifying warrantless physical searches in addition to the wiretapping. One terrorism suspect's lawyer says his (the lawyer's) office and home were searched without a warrant.

Keith Olberman has a segment on it with Jonathan Turley.

12. I am lost
how does a story, that justifies searching the lawyer's home without a warrant, bolster the position that such searches are justified? Or is it another example of bushco ineptness - try to frame a justification that simply raises more suspicions?
