MO GOP failed in Taking Lunches from the Mentally Disabled
Rep. Bryan Stevenson, R-Webb City, spoke in favor of ending the
funding for participants of Special Olympics, a private organization
he has contributed money to, he said.

"This is pork-barrel politics at its best. That is what this is,"
Stevenson said. "... We do not pay for school lunches for football
teams when they are out of town. We do not pay for school lunches for
school bands when they are out of town."
