Question for DUers who follow Hollywood celebrity stuff:

I'm asking this because I know nothing about Hollywood celebrities. The only reason I know Angelina Jolie is famous is because I keep seeing her on the covers of magazines when I go to the supermarket. Yes, I'm that clueless and unhip.

Anyways, here's my question:

Name for me a few Hollywood stars who have about the same amount of fame as Lindsay Lohan.

I can be clueless to other people's conversations, and the best way I found to understand them was to ask their opinion on Whomever/Whatever topic of conversation. I work on the principle that people like to be listened to. So I listen after I've asked for their opinion.

Who is Lindsay lohan???

She's co-starred with Jamie Lee Curtis in the re-make of 'Freaky Friday'; and also more recently co-starred with Herbie in the newest installment of the 'Herbie-the-wonder-car' series of movies. The Christian conservatives objected to how her breasts bounced in some scenes of 'Herbie' so Disney had their computer animators "reduce" the size of her breasts in those scenes. That's the extent of my 'Lindsay Lohan' knowledge.

I think any of the other teen queens of the movies would have the same fame. Amanda Byrne, Hillary Duff (is that her name? she's the one in that Disney kid-series who kept tripping over her feet, and then the character got a movie all to herself where she went to Italy and became the latest Euro-rock teen queen and tripped over her feet).

I live in Malibu, California and I'm totally clueless, too. LOL. Seriously! So much of Hollywood is boring as shit. I'll never understand the obsession with "celebrity." People need to GET LIVES!!!!

Is Lindsay Lohan the woman whose breast was revealed at a paparazzi event?? She was standing there and suddenly her dress came down. Seemed orchestrated to me -- like she wanted it to happen. Good publicity.

Other famous Lohan types are Jessica Simpson, Britney Spears, etc. It has something to do with the inverse relationship between actual talent and cup size.

Speaking of Aniston, my former boss (who is in her late 30s) was absolutely obsessed with her, even styling her hair like her. When the dustup regarding Angelina Jolie stealing Brad Pitt from Aniston happened, my boss apparently mentioned that she didn't want to hear Jolie's name because my boss was vicariously upset about Jolie hurting Aniston that way. :wtf:

She is otherwise a reasonable person who wouldn't care less if she bumped into a celebrity. But if the article even has an anagram of Angelina Jolie, the world stops and she has to read it.

I am obsessed with Angelina, also. But probably not for the same reasons :)
