Never received a reply from the racist emailer, but she's still at it.
I never received a reply from the ignorant racist bigot, nor any of her friends (including some I sent to addies at harvard.edu and va.gov) that I tried to take down a few pegs with the email I sent in this thread:

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=364&topic_id=580397

Here are some of the "hysterically funny" and "insightful" emails she has sent since I emailed her. Isn't this woman such a comedian and patriot?! :puke:

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Subject: FW: I love this comeback!

One of my sons serves in the military. He is still stateside, here in California. He called me yesterday to let me know how warm and welcoming people were to him, and his troops, everywhere he goes, telling me how people shake their hands, and thank them for being willing to serve, and fight, for not only our own
freedoms but so that others may have them also. But he also told me about an incident in the grocery store he stopped at yesterday, on his way home from
the base He said that ahead of several people in front of him stood a woman dressed in a burkha. He said when she got to the cashier she loudly remarked about the U.S. flag lapel pin the cashier wore on her smock. The cashier reached up and touched the pin, and said proudly, "Yes, I always wear it and probably always will."
The woman in the burkha then asked the cashier when she was going to stop bombing her countrymen, explaining that she was Iraqi.
A gentleman standing behind my son stepped forward, putting his arm around my son's shoulders, and nodding towards my son, said in a calm and gentle voice to the Iraqi woman: "Lady, hundreds of thousands of men and women like this young man have fought and died so that YOU could stand here, in MY country and accuse a check-out cashier of bombing YOUR countrymen. It is my belief that had you been this outspoken in YOUR own country, we wouldn't need to be there today. But, hey, if you have now learned how to speak out so loudly and clearly, I'll gladly buy you a ticket and pay your way back to Iraq so you can straighten out the mess in YOUR country that you are obviously here in MY country to avoid."
Everyone within hearing distance cheered! IF YOU AGREE, pass this on to all your proud American friends.

In the year 627 AD the Jewish tribe of Qurayza was raided by Mohammed. Some 700 men were beheaded. Edward Gibbon writes in his famous book, 'The Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire': " ... seven hundred Jews ere dragged in chains to the market-place of the city; they descended alive into the
grave prepared for their execution and burial; and the apostle beheld with an inflexible eye the slaughter of his helpless enemies."

Please note that when professed Christians commit crimes, they commit them in stark disobedience to the example and commandments of their divine Founder. When Muslims commit such cries, they commit them in imitation of, and obedience to, their "Prophet."

That's a significant difference. It means that as long as they remain Muslims, the possibility of repentance or reform is almost nil.

THE LARK PROGRAM

A Lady libertarian wrote a lot of letters to the White House complaining about the treatment of a captive insurgent (terrorist) being held in Guantanamo Bay. She received back the following reply:

The White House
1600 Pennsylvania Avenue
Washington, D.C. 20016

Dear Concerned Citizen,

Thank you for your recent letter roundly criticizing our treatment of the Taliban and Al Quaeda detainees currently being held at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

Our administration takes these matters seriously and your opinion was heard loud and clear here in Washington.

You'll be pleased to learn that, thanks to the concerns of citizens like yourself, we are creating a new division of the Terrorist Retraining Program, to be called the "Liberals Accept Responsibility for Killers" program, or LARK for short.

In accordance with the guidelines of this new program, we have decided to place one terrorist under your personal care. Your personal detainee has been selected and scheduled for transportation under heavily armed guard to your residence next Monday.

Ali Mohammed Ahmed bin Mahmud (you can just call him Ahmed) is to be cared for pursuant to the standards you personally demanded in your letter of complaint. It will likely be necessary for you to hire some assistant caretakers.

We will conduct weekly inspections to ensure that your standards of care for Ahmed are Com- mensurate with those you so strongly recommended in your letter.

Although Ahmed is a sociopath and extremely violent, we hope that your sensitivity to what you described as his "attitudinal problem" will help him overcome these character flaws. Perhaps you are correct in describing these problems as mere cultural differences. We understand that you plan to offer counseling and home schooling.

Your adopted terrorist is extremely proficient in hand-to-hand combat and can extinguish human life with such simple items as a pencil or nail clippers. We advise that you do not ask him to demonstrate these skills at your next yoga group. He is also expert at making a wide variety of explosive devices from common household products, so you may wish to keep those items locked up, unless (in your opinion) this might offend him.

Ahmed will not wish to interact with you or your daughters (except sexually), since he views females as a subhuman form of property. This is a particularly sensitive subject for him and he has been known to show violent tendencies around women who fail to comply with the new dress code that he will recommend as more appropriate attire.

I'm sure you will come to enjoy the anonymity offered by the burka -- over time.
Just remember that it is all part of "respecting his culture and his religious beliefs" -- wasn't that how you put it?

Thanks again for your letter. We truly appreciate it when folks like you keep us informed of the proper way to do our job. You take good care of Ahmed - and remember..we'll be watching.

Good luck!

Cordially, your friend,
Don Rumsfeld

Any suggestions? I guess she really is hopeless, but if there was a really great idea I'd be willing to attempt one last try at taking her to task. :)

It isn't the method of hijab used. Those beekeeper suits are unique to southwest Asia, particularly Afghanistan. Right out of the gate, the nitwit is lying...so why bother wasting your time and irritating your mind reading beyond that point!

Sites like Snopes can prove some of these wrong.

Or, as a test, copy a phrase from one & search on Google--using quotation marks, so you get an exact match. I usually get a bunch of hits--from the usual Right Wing subjects.

in serious need of some compassion and empathy, some education and understanding of human suffering and how the US government is spreading it.

I have one friend who sent me RW bullshit after the 2004 election. He works for Boeing and was passing along stuff he got from people he knows. He sent me the swiftboat video, the Glenn-Metzenbaum debate, and a whole lot of crap. I debunked each one, and told him to send my replies to the people who sent the "originals." He has come around.

I don't expect that from your "adversary," but you can let her know that you know the crap she sends out is racist, hateful, and erronious. That is, if you have the energy. Nailing her for her foolishness will be it's own reward. Don't expect anything from her.

The obvious flaws in the Iran-burka story are good for highlighting her foolishness. She will feel the sting. If she thought you were wrong, she'd write you back. Ha ha.

Iraqi women do NOT wear burkhas. A woman who does wear one would never be shopping alone (or anywhere in public alone) without her husband. And she would never speak out like that to a stranger either.

20. I don't understand how these devout Christians
could have missed the part where Christ calls Gentiles "dogs". He came to help the Jews, not the Gentiles.

A Gentile Shows Her Faith
Matt. 15:21-28

21 Leaving that place, Jesus withdrew to the region of Tyre and Sidon.
22 A Canaanite woman from that vicinity came to him, crying out, "Lord, Son of David, have mercy on me! My daughter is suffering terribly from demon-possession."
23 Jesus did not answer a word. So his disciples came to him and urged him, "Send her away, for she keeps crying out after us."
24 He answered, "I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel."
25 The woman came and knelt before him. "Lord, help me!" she said.
26 He replied, "It is not right to take the children's bread and toss it to their DOGS."
27 "Yes, Lord," she said, "but even the DOGS eat the crumbs that fall from their masters' table."
28 Then Jesus answered, "Woman, you have great faith! Your request is granted." And her daughter was healed from that very hour.

They pick and choose which commandments suit them.

The most important one they ignore is the first I believe:

Thou shalt not kill.

I would think it would include Iraqi children, or Iraqi fetuses at the very least. I guess they are taking "suffer the children" as literal when it comes to the Iraqi's, the US poor or immigrant children.

What a caring group!

When I sent out the originals I asked them where in the world their heads could be to condone this kind of bigotry.

There was a rockinnana and an angelnurse listed and I questioned them based on their nicks. I'm a grandmother. And that nurse needs to learn some compassion. Of course they may be unwilling recipients, but isn't there a block sender feature with most email programs if they didn't approve of such crap?

Not one of them replied.:( Are we the only ones that give a damn?!

People speak in whispers in line at the grocery stores, etc., about how * is destroying the country. I never thought you would hear people afraid to speak out in America! But the voices are getting louder all the time! More and more people are whispering, where before very few would even whisper, so that is giving me hope. :)

I'm going to concentrate on those that are feeling brave enough to whisper. If they see nothing horrible happens to a loud mouth liberal like me, it may give them more courage to speak louder.

Boy do I have much work to do here! Small towns (pops. < 20,000) are where we need to concentrate our efforts I feel. There is much unrest and discontent, but really nothing to pull people together as there is in much larger cities with the rallies and marches.

I'm just so new to all this political protesting I don't know where to start. DC last Sept. was my first march.

We're all doing what we can, as Lennon would say!:hi:

Dear friends and colleagues,

It has recently come to our attention that certain private interests are attempting to undermine our great nation by funding research into allegations that:

1) the great leader of our time, Ronald Reagan, participated in sordid, unspeakable homosexual acts with underage minors while in the Oval Office itself;

2) DNA evidence has been obtained suggesting out current wartime president has engaged in ungodly acts with pigs during his well deserved, frequent vacations at Crawford, Texas.

It is unforgivable that at this time in our history, when our dedicated leaders are set upon at all sides by the burka-wearing agents of satan, that godless, troop-hating heathen traitors within our own borders would sink so low as to investigate the private recreational activities of such great men. That is why we turn to you. To counter these outrageous lies, we need YOUR help. Please consider doing your part to defend our fine christian leaders by donating to "All Our Children" at http://www.churchworldservice.org

36. That is too good frustrated!
Wouldn't they all have apoplectic fits if they ever started learning the truth about the Franklin Cover-up?!!

Great link too, I'll pass it on.

Thanks! :hi:

40. What are the Laws

about inciting racial and religious hatred in U.S?

Maybe someone should refer her e-mails as they are 'publicly published', to the proper authorities?

41. Or the legality of deliberately misportraying the statements
of a government official? The woman does claim that letter originated from Rumsfeld's office....

48. I don't believe those laws apply to
repukes anymore do they?

Welcome to DU General! :toast:

We all have been learning the new interpretation of laws since it turned into "1984" in the USSA. I'm sure you will learn them quickly as well.:hi:

42. A burkha? On an Iraqi?
hahahahaha!!!

Whatta maroon!

Some Iraqi women wear an abaya - although not that many. Most wear a headscarf. The burkha is a particularly Afghani abomination. But I'm sure geography is no more her strong suit than is logic.

49. I'm sure she would have a difficult time with a USSA map, much
less a World one.

Her logic is - I believe it, it must be true.

I cannot remember what branch of logic that applies to for the life of me. Oh, paradoxical idiocy perhaps?!

I just have to hang it up on this one. On to issues that may actually have some hope!

43. Sounds like Reader's Digest "jokes" and "anecdotes"
The National Lampoon took them apart way back in the 70s.

It went something like this.

Humor in Uniform

A private first class had too good a time in town one night, and it took him two days to sober up, sleep it off and get back to base. After a short trial, the judge sentenced him to ten years in jail.

"Jesus Christ," quipped the plucky private. "What the fuck is this, Russia?"

you email. Email filters are a good thing.

51. I am done KitchenWitch. It's a lost cause and
there are much more important battles to wage. I'm concentrating on Iraq, Impeach/censure and the election fraud machines. We may have a chance at doing something about those things, changing a freeper's mind is the impossible dream in most cases.

As for my sanity, gone long ago to save itself!
