Republicans=NO Choice
NO choice over our own bodies="pro-life"
NO choice over religion="Christian" nation
NO choice over our leadership="Diebold" machines
NO choice over education=NCLB and attempts to teach ID and creationism in schools
NO choice over free speech=Free speech "zones" (miles away from presidential appearances) and Dissent=treason
NO choice over natural disasters=Response to Katrina and NOLA
NO choice over conservation and environmentalism=Big corps can do whatever the fuck they want
NO choice over finances=Rich get tax breaks, poor get fewer benefits and more screwed.
NO choice over civil liberties=Patriot Act takes away more every day.
NO choice over death and dying=NO universal health care
NO choice over ethics of our leaders=Bush is biggest liar and traitor in America
NO choice over budget=Trillions diverted to war effort instead of poorest Americans, grabbed by Halliburton and Carlyle Group as war spoils
NO choice over our ability to do anything=Citizenry powerless in the face of jack-booted thuggery of government officials, supported by Patriot Act to keep populace trembling in fear
NO choice over tolerance=Leaders preaching fear and hatred of those different than mainstream.
NO choice over a free press=Far right wing owners of primary media in country pervert and distort news that reaches most audiences.

Will our Senators and Representatives never change things? Will November elections be too far away? Will the leadership of this country declare martial law before a fair election can be held? Will we be able to have a fair election in the face of the Diebold machines? Will we ever be able to impeach our leaders and get them the fuck out of our affairs?

1. I agree with everything you said
but it is also necessary that the Democrats do their job, and not only hit those points, but insure that the voting machines are accurate. It has been six years, and what has been done to insure the voting is accurate?

2. Agreed--these are the talking points
but if the Dems don't do their part, it will be changed.

About the voting machines, there are enough people working on that aspect to make it a major issue. I only hope that their efforts are worth it!

3. No choice = Total Control
I was thinking today about how controlling these people are.

They want to control Americans' sex lives, religious beliefs, science, methods of communication--what we see and hear on TV, in movie theaters and on the radio. I am continually reminded of how bad the media is as I avoid watching the news or listening to the radio. Even if you listen to non political radio, it is mind numbing. Gone are the days of DJs' with individuality. They all play the same songs at the same times hour after hour. It's crazy.

I cannot stand to be controlled--so this maladministration is pushing all of my buttons.
