Imagine... for the rest of our lives, we'll hear endless bitching from the 30% who now support this war. They'll be saying how we should have "stayed the course" and "trusted the president" and all the other bullshit.

They'll blame the media, the liberals, the hippies, and god knows who else, instead of admitting the whole operation was flawed and morally bankrupt.

Just like the Vietnam war, we'll have to listen to that bullshit revisionism.

I've been hearing it since Vietnam. I think that what applied to Vietnam now applies to Iraq; the similarities are that strong.

for the best part of 15 years now and a trillion $$$ later along with a Pentagon that couldn't wait to try out all the newest and boomiest toys along with a compliant media that basically marginalized and removed any stumbling blocks from their march to war(like anti war protesters and the opinion of most of the rest of the world) still find themselves flummoxed as to how to win a war of choice, no less, then the option of starting wars should be removed from them for all time. As well as themselves from their positions for ineptitude on a cosmic scale. After that, then we can start the criminal proceedings.

It's just a failure to communicate. Just like in Vietnam, nobody told the VC and NVA that our bodycounts proved that they were all dead.
