Scientology and Viacom??

Is the Church of Scientology now part of the Viacom corporate family? The Tom Cruise-obsessed television shows "Entertainment Tonight" and "The Insider" ignored reports of Cruise warning Viacom subsidiary Paramount that he wouldn't hype "Mission: Impossible 3" unless Viacom subsidiary Comedy Central pulled the scheduled rerun of a Scientology-satirizing "South Park" episode. It did. And now it looks like "E.T." and "The Insider," Viacom productions, don't want to upset Tom, either.

Preferably a copy free of commercial interruptions or digital rights management.

1) Find all the blogs that mention the South Park Scientology controversy.
2) Visit all those blogs and post links to all the places where the episode can be viewed or downloaded for free.
3) Write to South Park's producers and ask them to voluntarily relinquish their copyright and place the episode under a Creative Commons license.

Everything that get the corporate censure should be let to roam free!

The controversy is good publicity, and if they release that episode on DVD it'll be a huge selling point.

If they said, "We don't care about the money. We just want everyone to see how stupid Scientology is and how gay Tom Cruise is. So, we're giving up our copyright and putting the episode in the public domain where anyone can get it for free."

Plus, there would be no way for them to issue a restraining order or force Viacom or South Park to stop distributing the episode-- they technically wouldn't own or control it anymore.

Now THAT would generate publicity.

...who dated a woman who was immersed completely into Scientology, and he has said that during your "audit", you are supposed to reveal your innermost secrets to the higher-ups. Well, he knows from personal experience (what he witnessed his now-ex-girlfriend going through) that if the higher-ups want to keep you under control, they blackmail you into doing what they want. They apparently have a lot of dirt on a LOT of people, and I'll bet Tom's higher-ups threatened to expose his dirty secrets unless he did what they told him to do.

Tom's doing their bidding because of this, and I'm sure Isaac Hayes is too.
