4. Gak.
I don't listen to anyone who calls Bill Clinton a Republican president.

5. Bill Clinton was the best Republican president we've ever had.
He got rid of welfare, signed Nafta, and de-regulated mass-media.

None of that sounds very liberal, or Democratic to me...

10. Nor do they make Clinton a Republican.
And that's the last kick I give a thread boosting Sam Seder. Ta!

12. Clinton is not my queen bee, and I'm not his drone.
That is what I like about most liberals. We aren't afraid to come down hard on our own..

Can't say that for the neo-cons. THey stick together no matter how wrong each other are.

15. You Say That Like It Were A Good Thing, Sir

It most emphatically is not.

What you are exalting as something to be proud of is a chief reason why the left loses, and the right wins. In any form of conflict, there is nothing so valuable as solidarity within the contending group towards achieving victory. A unified power has tremendous advantages over a coalition if in conflict with one, that are sufficient to outweigh even a sizeable numerical disadvantage. Where elements of a coalition are continually fractious, sniping at one another and scheming against one another, it is always possible for a unitary power to pick off one or another element of it and so defeat the whole. In modern political warfare, this is known as the "wedge issue", and it is no accident that Democratic voting strength has been peculiarly vulnerable to the technique, and the Republican voting strength almost immune to it.

Success for the Democrats requires the adoption of a Popular Front strategy, and this must be sincere on the part of all factions involved. The points of agreement must be found and emphasized; the points of disagreement must be kept muted and unvoiced. Failure to act in this manner will continue to hand victories to the worst elements of reaction. These, indeed, count on faction fights among the left as their secret weapon towards success. Those among us who insist on engaging in such are simply playing into their hands.

"LET'S GO GET THOSE BUSH BASTARDS!"

16. Did you hear him slam down that freeper about 9-11 and Iraq?
The freeper said that we had to get rid of hostiles and get rid of regimes.

Sam let him talk and then wacked him down asking him if he thought we should be killing innocent civilians because we were attacked.
