Well well, neocons
how do you like things now? You clawed and kicked and screamed your way to the top of the food chain, you told everyone that your way was the way things ought to be. You took over the government and ran roughshod with your opponents by any means necessary. You thought the country just had too much freedom for you to put up with or else you wouldn't have had such a hard time in life dealing with democrats and liberals.

Your days have finally come.

Funny how they didn't turn out to be so great after all. Did you think you would have a king's treasure now? Were you expecting to be accepted and adored? Did you think you and your kind would finally give you the kindness you were entitled to? Of course you did. Everyone heard about it not just from you but also from your pundits on talk radio and tv shows parroting the standard line of bull that's been streaming out of Washington D.C., that bastion of bureaucracy you said you loved to hate.

Yes, your days have finally come.

You've shown your collective face to the entire world. You didn't expect such a lukewarm reaction to it as everyone was puzzled as to how you could have had such conceit. You are the wicked queen from Snow White, someone obsessed with her own idea to the point of madness. Your delusions are quite grand. There is no beauty in someone who openly calls for the killing of his or her own fellow citizens, no truth in the savagery of secret torture abroad, nor the hiding from the horrors of your greed.

Yes your days have finally come.

The light of day is shining upon you. Your blight is laid bare. The clouds that followed your leader through much of his time in office have perhaps also clouded your judgments and perceptions of yourselves. The values and morals you talk about are apparently intended only for others. You reek of the sense of self-entitlement that you say is the core of the character of everyone else.
Irony abounds when you say that the medical profession enables people to indulge in that sense of entitlement because that is exactly what you do every Sunday in church. You find a minister who will preach the gospel to your liking. Your entitlement stinks to high heaven and everyone can smell it. Its best that you read your bible from start to finish and actually understand what it is telling you.

Your days have finally come. They have brought to light your shame across the entire world. No one will join you in your celebrations or your jubilees. In much of America, let alone the rest of the world, you are not welcome. Remember that you reap what you sew and so shall you reap.

4. Well let's hope so
If Democrats do well in the Nov. election, then the show could be over for the neo-cons. But even though polls look good right now, I am still cautious until it happens. Bush and the republicans might pull a rabbit out of their hat, like a Bin Laden capture in October.

7. Very good.
But it's "reap what you sow" as in 'oats' or whatever, not as in 'a rip in your clothes'.

8. Good rant!
Forgive me please, but should be "reap what you sow", not "sew". You have been visited by the dreaded spelling police. I sow flowers wherever I go.

10. excellent post
I fear, though, that neocons do not possess the ability to question their own activities, and the resulting mess created. They will go through mental contortions, and find a way to blame somebody else...preferably Bill Clinton, for the shambles America is being left in because of their arrogance and corruption.

11. true. but as to having a king's treasure, I'd have to say they do...
and they aren't about to give it up, no matter how much light is shone their way.

12. The Right's list against us was long. But Who knew! It describes them!
Edited on Mon Mar-20-06 02:08 PM by buddyhollysghost
Republicans are:

Big Spenders.......seen the deficit lately?

Baby killers.....do I have to show pictures?

Unable to protect Americans.......Katrina proves that once and for all

Lacking in morals....Gannon, Frist, Delay, Abramoff and on and on and on...

Using law to protect their cronies and their pork-barrel bullshit

A lunatic fringe as evidenced by the Terri Shiavo deal

Hellbent on destroying America's freedoms ...as the Patriot Act and NSA wiretapping clearly demonstrate

Disrespectful of our troops....... as witnessed with their Purple Bandaids and their running over memorial crosses in Crawford, TX. and their sending troops into a senseless war of GREED beyond the point of exhaustion without proper equipment yet not caring for them once they get back home.

Enemies of Religious freedom ......as shown by their Fundy litmus test for judges and their discrimination against any other religion but their own fake one.

I could go on and on, pointing out the names they called us and the way those names actually describe them to a T. Now the world sees what they are.

The only good thing about the present day is that neocons aren't just our secret problem over here. THE WHOLE WORLD hates what they are and what they have done.

13. But they got a king's treasure didn't they? They got the entire
American treasury, and will have all the oil fields in Iraq.
They could care less about public opinion, the only thing that matters to them is money.
