He and his loyal followers already think God handpicked him to be the supreme ruler of the world. I really do think he will try to stay in office since "we're at war and since the war on terra is neverending, I will be your ruler for eternity!" Do you think this could happen and what would we have to do in such a situation?

2. I Think He Will Try, But Will Fail
A weak last-ditch effort to keep "his" job will be doomed. NEVER happen, period.

3. I suspect he will have
a mutiny on his hands by the Joint Chiefs of Staff that we will never know about and there will be no great military efforts against Iran. He is ruining our military but being a classic "conservative" he neither knows it or cares.

5. no way in hell
if his poll numbers were reversed? That would be another story - then he may try.

Or

Watch now there will be another terrible terra attack and he'll try to grab power.

7. To do it 'legally' requires a constitutional amendment...
If they start pushing that, we might be doomed. Given the state of the election system, they might think they could put it through in 2 years. If that fails, there's always martial law. I wonder if our generals would agree to that or fight it? It's not a question I want to have answered any time soon.

The irony is that besides Clinton, the two presidents who might have actually served a third or more term(s) in the post Roosevelt era were Republicans--Eisenhower and Reagan.

8. If anything they will launch a half ass bombing campaign on Iran
It won't work, and like they have done in Iraq, will only make things worse.

9. Poppycock.
Even with the imperial attitudes of this bunch, their numbers are plummeting. There is no way the Chimp and his handlers will make it to an illegal third term. But, he may be foolish enough to try invading another country, just to feed his thirst for power.

11. He will serve a 3rd term. The neocons have their "perfect man", with *.
Right now they can do anything they want to and are making money hand over fist. * just goes with the flow.

All that they need todo is to allow another attack on US soil, and the Patriot Act will allow bu$h to stay at the helm for as long as it takes for reasons of "National Security".

I'm sorry to sound so cynical and paranoid but these neocons want to rule the world and they wont let anything like presidential term limits or elections get in their way.

12. You're not paranoid
If (more likely when) the cabal stages an event giving them an excuse to implement martial law, anything is possible.

13. General strike! We have to.
I've been researching this a bit. We don't need to do it nationwide, but identify liberal pockets with lots of union labor to get on board. Here's a Wikipedia article on the Seattle General Strike of 1918.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seattle_General_Strike_of_...

I believe we could start strikes in Seattle, Portland, San Francisco and the Port of Los Angeles. I don't know where your liberal pockets are back east or in Middle America with plenty of union members but they need to be identified.

The idea is to get the unions on board in these main arteries to shut down commerce. Usually, when it starts, the rest of the population gets on board in support. *crosses fingers*
