Should War supporters "Put Their Money Where Their Mouth Is"?

Do you think people who supported/continue to support the Iraq Invasion should have to go over and fight themselves/send their kids over to fight, or STFU?

conservatives should be there. All liberal troops should be sent home & replaced with conservative ones starting with the Bush's daughters. Most of the folks that support the war are chicken hawks - look at Bill O'Lielly & oxyboy for examples.

I have that Bumper sticker on my car. If THEY support it, THEY should fight it.

Not a lot has changed in 40 years, at least not for the better. The ones supporting the war are the ones who never had to go. Chickenhawks.....all of them. :puke:

Any more than opponents of the war should have been forced to move to Iraq if it hadn't happened.

I think that there is a case for demanding that those people who advocate a war for purely selfish reasons fight in it themselves, but - to give the devil his due - the vast majority of the supporters of the invasion of Iraq support(ed) it for reasons other than personal benefit.

There is, I think, a case for making the oil companies who stand to benefit most from the war pay some of the cost, but there's nothing hypocritical in advocating a war without being willing to fight in it personally, any more than there's anything hypocritical about advocating any other cause of action without being willing to risk death for it. That sounds mistaken, at first, but it's actually fairly clearly true - there's nothing hypocritical about advocating sending firemen into a blazing building but not being willing to join the fire brigade myself.
