Freeper post that just made me sick...
Exposing the Socialist Agenda of Antiwar Protestors in Fayetteville, North Carolina
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1599752/posts

The whole, long thing is horrible but:
There are 2 pics that go with this bit -

This guy tried to break into the American zone. Note his innocent, disingenous expression as he feigns an inability to comprehend why the police will not let him through. The baby in his backpack was in hysterics after he continued to challenge the police, who after politely informing him that he would not be allowed into the American Zone, surrounded him and informed him more insistently that his best option was to walk away if he wished not to be arrested.
Our guess, based on his obliviousness or callousness to the emotional state of the infant, was that it was a loaner baby that he borrowed to appear less threatening and also to place the police in a difficult position by using the baby as a form of human shield. (It becomes more difficult to arrest someone when a struggle might cause injury to an innocent!)

Really, if I want to know what Freepers are thinking -- and I use the term loosely -- I'll sign up for FR and read their posts for myself.

3. How does being against this stupid fucking war make one a Socialist?

I'm just failing to see the dots connecting on that.

21. Honey, these people think the Today Show is Socialist.
No kidding. The town I grew up in has a "vent" section in the local paper where people call in with one liners that are published in the paper. Last time we visited, there was a "vent" from a guy who said, "The Today Show is just plain Socialist."

But don't ask me . . b/c I have NO clue what these dumb asses are talking about.

5. If I had a choice between being a socialist & a fascist I will always
choose socialist. It's just their way of lumping everyone on the left together. Ask him why he isn't in Iraq. Is he a chicken hawk? Send them an Army recruiting form.

11. Pictures speak the truth:

Wow, look at the number of people at that rally... seems like they maybe had 20 people show up!

The true face of Freeperville - exposed!

Oh and by the way, this is a BANNER used to link people to their website. It's not like they had an actual picture of the anti-war protestors.

Now see, here's what a REAL anti-war rally looks like!

12. I read the whole report
The underlying theme throughout was "stop free speech".

From the attempt to make the park unavailable to using noise to drown out the anti-war speakers, the entire purpose was not to "counter-protest", but to stifle the voices of those with whom they disagree. It was unmentioned whether brown shirts and jackboots was the preferred fashion of the day.

This wasn't a "war of words" or "ideals" that the Freeps participated in, it was simple use of harassment and terror to stop a popular majority from expressing themselves.

Kudos to their photog however, nice framing, composition, and subject matter. Especially the one that showed the fisherman in the foreground leading the eye to the people on the background bridge.
(My mom told me to always find something nice to say about everyone)

Utah loves George W. like he was one of us. In the Beehive State he will always be esteemed a hero, and you liberals better get used to it or else move to Canada or France (take your pick). Even though W. can't be elected again I have a "W-2008" sticker on the bumper of my Dodge dually just to let the liberal media know who they are messing with. As far as Hurricane Katrina is concerned...you CAN'T blame that on Pres. Bush. It's a known fact that New Orleans has a lot of Liberals and other types of criminals. No wonder they are blaming it on W. They'll say anything to make an innocent man look bad. Don't you remember when there was so much chaos in the world with 'Billary'? We were a hairsbreadth away from the entire earth being totally annihilated after that Lewinski scandal. When will these liberals learn?

Does neocon stand for neo conservative or neo confederate? It seems like a lot of these morons congregate around the same places that supported slavery...

16. I always found freepers funny...
Kind of absent mindedly talking avoiding every single fact that disagrees with their statements like it were a zombie in resident evil. Then at the final conclusion they act as if they just walked across a path of fire and brimstone and dare you to be as cool as them. I wouldn't personally bother with them...my opinion is freepers are well aware that everything they say is BS and their real goal is to make people angry. Intellect does little well while riled by frustration, and, I think it's their blatent stupidity that's making us angry they're using like a weapon. I think we function best completely ignoring people like them.

Of course I understand some posters simply have a bad day and may say something out of line here or there (I've been there personally), but these people, I think they lack a total comprehension of the world around them. Like it's some kind of boring, drawn out game where if they participate long enough they'll get freebies and the spotlight. I wouldn't put it past them to have an empathy level not even capable of being able to understand other freepers let alone people with 'ideals'.

19. How much more haterful can these guys be?
"Likewise, while MSM photos may zoom in on the handful of normal looking protestors in the crowd, we photograph the radicals in all their unwashed, pierced, misanthropic glory. These marches do not comprise large numbers of average American families, but rather a core group of hardcore radicals who hate and seek to overturn Western civilization, accompanied by fellow-travellers and some naive folks who may have been sucked in, not realizing with whom they were keeping company. As Justice Louis Brandeis famously said, "Sunlight is the best disinfectant." Our FReeps shine a bright light of factual information on these infections in our society. The leftists are no longer able to maintain the illusion of a kumbaya love fest for peace: Their hatred becomes clear for all to see, and the positive "peace-vibe" goes the way of the other myths of the 60's."
