That Nancy Gracie thing just said it did. I must have missed the ripples.

3. Bet you they were a white couple.

Are white people going extinct? Why are we following the death of every upper-class white tourists and not giving a shit about the dead minorities in this country? I guess when it's our government that kills them it's less intriguing than when a white guy dies while on vacation.

:sarcasm:

Ok, that was really cynical and bitter. Sorry.

8. It was pretty big up here in Canada.
Especially when the Mexican authorities accused two soccer moms from Canada of being assassins.

Domenico Ianiero, 59, and his wife, Annunziata, 55, of Woodbridge, Ontario, were found dead in their hotel room at the all-inclusive, five-star Barcello Maya Beach Resort on the Mayan Riviera early Tuesday, just hours before their daughter's wedding.

Their throats had been slashed.

10. Ooh,
I traveled and stayed in Akumal a decade ago. I loved it - quiet, off the path of the party folks. Bet it's changed immensely since then.

hasnt changed much since then. not the cove area. outside the area i saw a lot of growth. but still a nice quiet, more family location

it is beautiful. we could have easily stayed another week. hard coming back in shorts and short sleeve tshirts to 30 degree weather, lol
