He's got his earpiece in - listen for it.
When he bows his head and stumbles for a second and then comes up with the proper phrase, that's his earpiece.

1. Hey Steph!

Yes he does! Yesterday, I he looked down for a second and I heard him say, "Wait a minute, wait a minute..."

2. he'll tap dance for a second, mumble incoherently, then voila
He suddenly arrives at the scripted line prepared for him - he's being prompted through that earpiece for sure

4. I wonder if a modified cell-phone jammer would work on that thing
If someone were to activate such a device during a televised Q&A session, or if that had been done during the presidential debates . . .

Well, it's a nice fantasy.

6. It would have to be modified
Someone would have to get the details about the transmission used for Georgie's earpiece.

7. i can't imagine sending ANY sort of jamming
freq in the Whitehouse would be allowed...I see a stint in jail if caught in that one. And it would drive one more nail into the press corps coffin...

9. It's so obvious to me I can't figure out why he isn't called on this
Just watch the tape again with this in mind and it's perfectly clear what's happening.

12. It's interesting that no one ever says a word about this
Is it undetectable when you're in the same room?

11. He's more than likely been using some type of a voice-to-skull
system (there are patents on this given to American Technology Corp. of San Diego and Lowery) or just a plain old monitor. There is always a delay.

Since a lot more people are aware of this today, then don't be surprised when you notice that other world figures (including "dead" ones-manipulation of historic figures statements to reinforce agendas) are saying things you'd never believe they'd say.

It's all part of perception management.

16. I noticed that, too. I saved some old topics about this in my journal
because discussions of *'s earpiece tend to disappear into the archives too fast. Unfortunately a photo of * at the 2/5/04 prayer breakfast that seems to clearly show the earpiece is no longer online, so that image link in my old topic about it doesn't work, but I also had a link to another DU topic that has a blowup showing the earpiece more clearly, and you can still see that photo.

He's apparently been using an earpiece for years, judging by some articles about Karen Hughes being observed mouthing Bush's comments word for word, a half beat before he spoke, even when he was taking questions from the press in 1999 (I saved the topic on a TNR article about that in my journal, too).

18. At one point they claimed he had a hearing aid, I think.
REmember that? I think it was during the first campaign. That would be before they got some better technology.
