3. Isn't she grand? I just love that woman.
Did you know that BushCo banished her to the back row at press conferences for years because she pissed them off? Helen had previously held a seat of honor on the front row. I think she's back up near the front now.

4. She has always been up front in the press room (blue curtains)
It's the (RARE) press conferences they hold in the WH, with the absurd honor guard and red carpet, where they stuff her in the back row, and put clowns like Ari and Scottie IN THE AUDIENCE....

8. I stand corrected. Is the press room the room in the basement of the WH?
She should be in the front row at every press conference, IMHO, because she's got senority and she's short!

12. Yes, it used to be Kennedy's indoor swimming pool
Nixon poured concrete over it and turned it into a press room, because he wanted the press far away from him (they used to be on the first floor of the WH). Monkeyboy is building a new press facility, further away still, to be used while they "refurbish" the existing facility. Whaddaya wanna bet they never move back???
