May i please remind everyone that when Bush says he didn't want war
that he stood at another press conference and said the even if he had known there were no WMDs in Iraq he would have invaded anyway? If that doesn't mean he wanted war, what does it mean? How long will the incompetent of totally bought-off press allow him to get away these lies?
If you want to watch a few minutes of truth in journalism, you best catch Countdown this evening. That's all the criticism you're ever going to hear from Corporate Media.

We had some troops in Saudi and Kuwait. They went out dune-buggying one day and got lost in the desert. Iraqi Army patrols spotted them and spontaneously began to throw down their arms and flee. All our boys wanted was to get directions home from somebody who could speak English. They ran away. We followed. They ended up going all the way to Baghdad which offered itself in surrender. You can see what kind of position that put us in? It would be impolite to refuse. The whole thing was an escalating comedy of errors. Bush didn't want any war. It just happened you see. Could have happened to anyone.
showed Bu$h just before announcing 'shock and awe'. He didn't act like he was reluctant to declare the start of the bombing. Fact is, he seemed rather proud of himself.
He looked like a schoolboy, the way I remember it. Not aware of what war is really all about.
9. bush never actually answered Helen Thomas' request which was,
what was your real reason for going to war. The saddest answer may be that the incompetent, incoherent fuck may not actually know, other than some people around me wanted to go.
