How long would * have lasted as CEO of your business?
6 months?

Unless you run 700 Club, Haliburton, or Chuckie Cheese - He doesn't make it past the second annual review.

FIRE THE TURD!

1. I don't have a business but I do have a cheer team and I
wouldn't have let him anywhere near my kids.

on edit: wouldn't make it to the interview process, would have seen that his resume was bullshit and tossed it in the trash.

3. 20 minutes into the first meeting
and he would have been bounced out. Nobody would tolerate the bumbling fuckhead as CEO. Janitor, maybe.

4. You might want to reconsider the question

"How long could your business have lasted with * as the CEO?"

Because, to date, no corporation/business has.

5. I'm a stickler for grammer....
I most likely would have thrown his "application" in the trash - if he can't speak well there is little doubt that he can write well.

1 - 2 years. And than the 10 million dollar golden parachute

compensation package would kick in. And we'd hire another one just like him....

6. he doesn't make it through the interview
I wouldn't hire anyone who said "heh heh" or did that thing he does with his hands when he talks.

Mr. Bush - sorry, this job is only for qualified candidates. The good news is, you get a first class all expense paid one way trip vacation to The Hague. Your driver is here from Interpol, looking for you. They'll meet you at the elevator.

7. CEO is largely a hereditary position given to men of a certain
class who felt the need to educate themselves beyond the gentleman's C at a business school. That's why they get paid what they do and why their pay packages and severance packages aren't tied to performance.

Stupid would have done just fine bouncing from corporation to corporation getting a bigger pay package every time he moved.

Then he'd have retired to "serve" on the boards of "philanthropic foundations" who exist primarily to give six figure paychecks to the scions of the rich so they could get around those pesky inheritance laws.

And yes, I'm a cynic.

It's much more fun to speculate on what he'd be had he been born to middle class or even working class parents.

...I'm betting he'd be somebody's prison bitch.

9. Probably about the same amount of time he lasted at his own businesses
not long.

Is this is longest job tenure?

12. I think there was a thread on DU that said in total he LOST $180 million
of investors' money in all the business he ran. Nearly every business Daddy Bush has set him up in had tanked within a couple of years, usually with Jr. selling out shortly before it went belly up. He's like that guy in Catch 22 who was employed to plough companies into the ground as a tax dodge.

I think Caterair was the biggest disaster he presided over.
