My short/sweet LTTE re: Feingold

Since MoveOn just spurred me to write a letter, I wrote this up for them. Hope it helps.

Here goes:

I remember a time when Republicans bragged that they were the "law and order" party.

Senate Republicans' repudiation of Feingold, I'm afraid, spells the complete death of that image, handing it over to the Democrats on a silver platter.

Republicans also complain that Feingold is engaged in some kind of love affair with terrorists. If that's true, then it must follow that Republicans are in some kind of hate affair against civil liberties, the rule of law, the Constitution and America itself. Tell me it isn't so.

A true American patriot stands up for the rights of the American people. Feingold did just that.
