2. This is a guy with serious problems
Sorta like rabbits that freeze in the middle of a lawn and think you can't see them. Wonder what time today he gets fired.

8. Wow. They've found so much more in a few hours. This is a huge
black eye for The Post. I hope they deal with it soon. So they've said nothing other then his half-assed apology for calling Mrs. King a communist.

http://blog.washingtonpost.com/redamerica/

He should strap on his stones and resign.

11. The WAPO should be so embarrassed but sigh, this fool
will probably get a promotion. He even plagiarized the WAPO! Does anyone even research anything anymore? You would have thought that the WAPO would have done even the most basic research on this guy, but that would require doing some work. Gad.

12. "Ben Domenech Resigns"
http://blog.washingtonpost.com/redamerica/2006/03/ben_domenech_resigns.html

"Plagiarism is perhaps the most serious offense that a writer can commit or be accused of. Washingtonpost.com will do everything in its power to verify that its news and opinion content is sourced completely and accurately at all times."

D'oh!

16. Researchers were the first to go....
when downsizing happened in the print media, is my understanding. Stupid, when you thing of it. Newspapers are in the business of printing the truth, which makes those lowly fact-checkers very important people--or would in a sane world.

13. Guess who Domenech is blaming?
"The truth is, no conservative could write for the Post without being subject to the gauntlet of the liberal attack machine. There is no question in my mind that any RedState contributor writing for this blog would have found leftists delving through his high school yearbooks and grade school book reports in an effort to discredit and defame him. And if you too were a sloppy teenage writer, your errors or the errors of others would’ve been exploded.

14. OMG! lol
He can't string a few words together to make an original sentence, so it's the "liberal attack machine" fault?!!

15. Wow ... look at this.
This is Domenech's defense: http://www.redstate.com/story/2006/3/24/151255/259

He basically blames others and refuses to take any responsibility. What's interesting and horrifying about this thread is the way the fundinazis circle up the wagons and defend the creep, right or wrong. This guy could rape a goat on national TV and they'd still be chanting, "God bless you, Ben."
