Instinctive feelings about Bush that have materialized

Please list yours. Here are a few of mine -

One of Bush's first publicized reading list books was Liberal Bias by Lee Atwater (I think I have the title author correct). And what has happened, Bush manipulates the news media by bullying, access, etc.

The whole compassionate conservative thing was a crock and still is. It was pure pandering to the Religious Right, and is neither compassionate or conservative.

Bush's tax cuts and endless wars will bankrupt our country and do damage to the world's economy. Sometimes I feel this is intentional, other times I just think Bush is REALLY REALLY incompetent.

I have others that I need to put into words, yet. What are yours?

That is how I've always thought of him. He's mindless, his only instinct is to take the easiest path out of any uncomfortable situation. He has been surrounded by advisors that give him the easy path out of every problem and its always a path that enriches the wealthiest, or most willing to donate, of his base of contributors. Hasn't changed a single bit.

I struggle with this concept about the GWB admin all the time and I learn heavily towards the latter.

I think they believed their own bullshit and really believed in their hearts the War would pay for itself and we'd be greeted as liberators and surely somebody over their would eventually dig up a cache of WMD's!

so many possibilities. I think you are right. I also think that the real powers are hidden deep away from public scrutiny. the true money men will never show their face. they will lose too much power and control if they ever come under scrutiny.

That's what I told a gloating Repub friend. "I don't know why, but I'm really scared that this guy will be the President."
