<snip>

Reps. Walter Jones (R), Ron Paul (R), Wayne Gilchrest (R), Neil Abercrombie (D), Ike Skelton (D), and Marty Meehan (D) have issued a "dear colleague" letter announcing that they plan to go to the House floor on April 5 to push for a measure calling for a bipartisan debate on the Iraq war. The letter reads, "While we represent different constituencies, belong to different political parties, and have differing views on what U.S. policy in Iraq should be, we are united in our conviction that it is time for the House of Representatives to debate the war in Iraq."

6. Good luck to them.
I hope Chris Shays from CT joins in. This would be a great thing, but I think the Rethug leadership would never allow it. Sigh!

8. Better late than never, I guess.
Wish the debate had taken place BEFORE the invasion. x(

Hope a debate will take place BEFORE military activities against Iran and/or Syria.
