Laura Bush on Larry King tonight (total desperation)

Hilarious! These morans always trod out the Faustian Lady when they're in trouble.

Bush's polls are in the toilet and his whirlwind US marketing tour only made America hate him more.

Cheney's numbers are half of Junior's. Rumsfeld---the face of the Iraq war--cannot show his face in public anymore.

They do this EVERY TIME! It's like clockwork. Junior sinks into the mud and they try to prop him up by showcasing
the only member of the Bush family who has favorable polls above 50 percent.

People...rejoice. We are witnessing the desperate moves of desperate men in a desperate situation.

I love watching the neocons grasp at straws, don't you?

6. A real bitchin' article on Pickles in this month's Vanity Fair. She isn't
portrayed as all sweetness and light that the repugs want people to think. James Wolcott wrote "Lost in the White House" about dear Pickles. Wolcott slams her pretty good. Wolcott said she was just as mean as Bar just more covert about it. Wish the VF would post their article on line - it was a very good read and should guarantee that VF will not be invited to any White House soirees by Pickles anytime soon.

I'm betting Pickles won't allow any phone calls tonight. Just her and Larry casually performing fellatio on each other for an hour.

7. Laura Bush is sort of a mystery.
She's got the "political wife" mask down pat, but you always feel like there's more going on there. At the White House Coorespondent's Dinner, she had a very funny speech that included many Barbara Bush slams. ("She's more like... Don Corleone.") Even after 5 years, we really don't know that much about her. How was she mean? It's too bad the article isn't online.

is how her visit with Larry is being billed....I may be cynical, but did Laura just suddenly decide this was her mission?....I mean now that her husband is in shit pollwise, is this just a convenient ploy?...I don't remember hearing anything about her being involved in this cause before now.....:shrug:

8. There's an article, read on WJ this AM asking Laura to
tell her husband the real facts. I can't remember the author, but she said Shrub would listen to Laura and somebody has to tell him the truth instead of candy coating everything like his staff does. She said Laura was the only one who can save him now.

I don't agree with this author, bacause I don't think Shrub listens to ANYONE! But you're right, it is desperation.

12. Yep, that was the name of the author.
I don't know anything about Quinn, but some fundy was giving Brian Lamm a really rough time for even reading it, and disparaging "OUR" President like that! He said Quinn was a left wing whore! I was a little surprised Brian didn't cut him off after that one!
