Please sign this stem cell petition from the DCCC
Tell Senator Frist to Stop Obstructing Stem Cell Research

The House has already passed Representative DeGette's Stem Cell Research Enhancement Act, HR 810 legislation to expand stem cell research. Now the Senate has a rare opportunity for Congress to do something that could lead to the saving of lives and making our nation a better place.

Months ago Senate Republican Leader Bill Frist promised to hold that vote, but continues to stall on this vital issue. This bill just needs a vote in the Senate to get to President Bush's desk.
We, the undersigned, demand that Senator Frist keep his word and hold the up-or-down vote on stem cell research.

2. Hmmm, that's tough call.
Curing real diseases in real people on the one hand and superstitious folk prejudices on the other. Will they be using human-animal hybrids to create werewolves or a race of pig-men?
