It happened exactly the same time as Shandra Levy, IIRC. Of course, she had some disease or something that caused her to inexplicably pass out and hit her head on the corner of her desk and die. Or something like that, although some reports say her family strenuously disagrees. Followed very quickly by his decision not to run for office again and a divorce. Hmmm. Imagine if that had happened to a Democrat.

Regardless of what happened, there was an awful lot of covering up going on. The coroner was a joke, not to mention the treatment they got by the local press.

Besides, my point is the difference in the way politicians are treated. I would bet there are more people who believe Gary Condit had something to do with Shandra Levy's death then even KNOW about Lauri Klausutis.
