Just watched Grover Norquist interview Kevin Phillips on CSPAN's Book TV
Edited on Sat Mar-25-06 10:08 PM by xray s
First impression; Grover is a mealy mouthed wuss.

Second impression; Phillips was really, really tempted to reach across the table, rip off Grover's head, and shit down his neck.

Third impression; The Republican party is fracturing right before our eyes.

Forth impression; Integrity, competence and a break from the past are winning characteristics for candidates in '06 and '08. I am thinking Feingold and Clark, for example, as well as the whole fighting Dem phenomena..

Hope we can take this gift we have been given and use it in November.

(Oh, and just when did Grover settle into the C-SPAN stable? I see they are interviewing the neo fascist Horowitz next time. I guess Jeff Gannon will do that interview.)

1. Yeah, I got that too.
Phillips seemed like he really didn't like Norquist at all.

5. Well, since Phillips despises the neocons...
and the Bushes, and since he usually does not mince his words, it should not be any surprise that he dislikes Norquist.

12. Republican Phillips, has always been a tight ass...he never seems to
Edited on Sun Mar-26-06 02:18 AM by LaPera
be relaxed or care for anyone...However more and more it appears his eyes are being opened to how truly pathetic, hateful & disgusting and what lying slobs the filthy greedy republicans truly are...and that's a good thing for sure...

I did enjoyed his last book very much though...not bad for a republican, (ex or otherwise).

Shouldn't he be knee deep in dirty abramhoff bathwater by now?

7. Grover would not let him speak
about the religious extreme, this is what the book was about. He tried to focus on the financial.

8. Saw Phillips be interviewd by Pumkin Head tonight
he was on the Tim Russett show. Should be replaying now & again later tonight on msnbc. Real good interview. Kevin made some good points on what the dems can do to win, but he is just as preplexed as we are as to why they can't seem to get their act together.
