Lest we forget...

There is a reason America has been known as the "sleeping giant." It's not just because of our (possibly former) manufacturing capabilities. Its because once the American people raise their voices, they WILL BE HEARD. It hapened when we were attacked at Pearl Harbor. It happened when we finally had enough of the conflict in Vietnam. It happened when we were hit on 9/11.

And it's happening again. The groundswell is like that of a tsunami moving through deep waters towards the shore. It can barely be sensed until it approaches.

But it IS approaching. The huge protests in LA today were a symptom of the approaching tidal wave, in much the same way that one can see the sea-birds and other creatures fleeing the shoreline. It is a sign of things to come. It is a warning for those in power.

The sleeping giant is stirring, finally waking from the nighmares that have been plaguing its rest.

It's going to be PISSED.

I would like to see much more of this kind of thinking.

that change comes from the bottom up. Politicians follow the people. When I saw senior citizens in my conservative town carrying impeach bush signs - just knew something was rising.
