But I guess it's reasonable to assume that in a country of 300 million, you're going to find five or six people who think like this:

"Dammit, I was all excited about voting for a liberal Democrat, but then I found out he was a Jew!!!! Guess I'm gonna have to vote for the Republican now!!!"

I say screw a bunch of naysayers. I was born into a baptist family and I would have voted for JFK if I was old enough too. Religion and Color means nothing to this happy old Okie. I guess you could say I'm tone deaf and color blind. Thanks to my mom and dad.

8. I don't give a damn what Feingold's religious affilation is ,

he is the only one I could support at the moment. I was thinking today that we need a BIG change in this country.He is an American, so therefore he is electable, IMHO. The only one who has shown a speck of courage, so far.

I also can't help but notice, the two posters who have taken issue with this post (the original one), can't vote here anyway (unless you are dual citizens or an American living in a foreign nation).

Perhaps you should compare Feingold and Lieberman a little closer...you may be surprised.

I think the man can handle himself in a very honorable way, I see him teaming up with Big Al Gore to put a stop to the erosion of our constitution. A Gore/Feingold ticket has a good feel to it don't you think.

If Joementum can win, then I'm assuming America doesn't have a problem with the idea of a Jewish president.

I do agree that we are likely to see the stop Feingold campaign adopt the "But He's Jewish" angle at some point.

It could even come from our side.

After the intraparty smears in the 2004 primaries, nothing would surprise me.
