Not Just Yes, Hell Yes, He Should Recuse Himself.
The question on C-SPAN is should Scalia recuse himself after delivering remarks in Germany that make it crystal clear that he is completely incapable of impartially judging any matter concerning U.S. prisoners in Gitmo or anywhere else. Scalia demonstrated that he's basing his bias on his son's having been in Iraq in harm's way; a personalized and emotional stance that's irreconilable with hearing cases involving these matters. Scalia has had to recuse himself in the past for prior intemperate remarks. He shouldn't be able to slide by on this one.

2. Of course he should recuse himself
But when has the law actually meant anything to Scalia. As long as he and his buddies stay rich he doesn't give a shit what the law says. Picture Judge Dredd (as portrayed by Sylvester Stallone) "I AM THE LAW"

3. Nah, He was just signalling to the new guy Alito how the vote
is supposed to go. Just letting the new guy onto the inside track to help make his transition easy.

What's wrong with that? Don't you want your co-workers to help new people keep from embarrassing themselves?

Clearly you hate your co-workers and you hate America.

5. Of course he should
but short of impeachment, no one can make him. He'll do however he pleases.

6. Scalia is this country's poorest excuse (in all our history) for
a justice (ha) of the SCOTUS. And I'm sure that Alito will follow in his footsteps.

By the way, does anyone know if Martha's stopped crying yet?

8. Here's a link
sorta random- but it does confirm that Captain Matthew Scalia went to Iraq in 2003. He's a grad of West Point.
