1. Without seeing a list of the channels they provide access to
there is no way I can evaluate this stuff.

I'd be inclined to stick with sites like http://beelinetv.com/ and http://wwitv.com/portal.htm for my online TV.

My best guess is that their software just provides viewers for the stuff that's already there for people with the free versions of Winamp, Quick Time and Real.

2. Complete and utter scam.
I don't have the time to list the myriad ways this offer is Utter Bullshit (TM). As a long-time Internet user (modems 1983, inet 1987) who has hunted the net for free/cheap streaming media that offers like this are designed to swindle.

Just a brief one: "Access to 5,000 channels" Well, since the product is likely a very inexpensive TV tuner, I'm sure you have "access" to those 5,000 channels, as long as you're in a good reception area. It's just up to the user to move their computer to the 1,000 different locations around the globe where those channels are broadcast over the airwaves.

3. I Checked Out Their List Of Stations Several Months Back
I didn't see much that caught my fancy, but there's sure a lot of stuff there. They also have an affiliate program, if you want to put a banner on your site, and maybe make a few bucks.
