MSNBC/Tweety; All Buchanan all the time...

Tweety's outdone himself. With the Administration imploding, with everything that's going on, he just said that he fantasizes Walter Cronkite being called in to help rectify all of the Administration's problems. First of all, Walter hates these guys and rejects their manner of governing. Tweety knows this but he juxtaposes Cronkite's name with the Bush Administration so that it will help bolster the sense that everyone would just be OK if they could get the act together and they're all in this for the common good.

Tweety's floundering himself...they oughta call in Eric Sevareid to help him...or maybe Ed Murrow....or Fred Friendly. That's the ticket.

Instead they have that crypto-fascist Buchanan on as the 'voice of steady reason, as well as experience in being part of an administration which was forced out. Buchanan proudly admitted earlier today on Imus that he'd left the Rethug Party. So I guess he's a member of the National Socialists?

But I do enjoy watching him implode and waffle. Great entertainment! Even Fox News is getting entertaining! It's like watching a really bad freak show.

He's professed to be a libertarian and has written a book about how the repig party has, ala zigzag Zell, moved past him.
He's also the guy who still claims tricky Dick was an honorable man.

The one where he said Buchanan was in the Reagan administration during the many scandals. A jab that Buchanan didn't enjoy. He let Tweety know it more than once during their chat that it wasn't appreciated. Tough darts.

Btw, yesterday Tweety said again that he voted for W in 2000 but didn't like him in 2004. He's as conflicted as ever.
