Some knothead Bush lover/author was interveiwed on NPR today.

The thing that struck me about the interview was when he stated that he thought Bush should "annoint" (I kid you not, he really said "annoint") Condoleeza Rice to be Vice President after Cheney quit and become Bush's successor to the White House. The symbolism of Bush as either Priest or Pastor, maybe even God, annointing the chosen is aimed directly at the religious right. This is a problem for the rest of us.

Especially when he wanted Leibermann to be Secretary of something or other in the Bush administration. I guess that irritated me so much because I could see that as something that Leibermann might do.
