Bush Opposes Iraq's Premier, Shiites Report

<SNIP>

Haider al-Ubady, a spokesman for Mr. Jaafari, said the prime minister had received the ambassador's message and accused the Americans of trying to subvert Iraqi sovereignty.

"How can they do this?" Mr. Ubady said. "An ambassador telling a sovereign country what to do is unacceptable."

2. Goodness, Iraqi elections would be so much simpler if they just..
gave the sole vote to "Danger Man".

This whole thing is simply outrageous.

7. Let Freedom Reign!
And you know that ass cannot spell "reign".

Did you see where he proposed teaming up the Iraqi Cabinet (if and when they find the memo) with his?

I just want to know who will be the counterpart to Bigfoot Hughes?

4. Khalilzad is testifying next Tuesday in the Senate
In front of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. Hmmm, something tells me that Sens. Biden Sarbanes, Dodd, Kerry, Feingold, Boxer, Nelson (FL) and Obama might just ask him why he sent this message and what he and the Bush Admin hope to accomplish by doing so.

The hearing is set for Tuesday, April 4, 2006 at 2:30 PM. It might be interesting.

5. Mr. Ubady ..
Apparently didn't get the memo..

8. Liars should at least be consistent.
Mr. Khalilzad said Mr. Bush "doesn't want, doesn't support, doesn't accept" Mr. Jaafari as the next prime minister, according to Mr. Taki, a senior aide to Abdul-Aziz al-Hakim, the head of the Shiite bloc.

+

American officials in Baghdad did not dispute the Shiite politicians' account of the conversation, though they would not discuss the details of the meeting.

+

"The decisions about the choice of the prime minister are entirely up to the Iraqis," said the spokeswoman, Elizabeth Colton. "This will be an Iraqi decision."

Total = Elizabeth Colton is LYING

9. Just let Bush repeat
hs famous definition of "sovereign." it's good for a laugh. Talking about Native Americans, he said this...
""Tribal sovereignty means that, it's sovereign. I mean, you're a -- you're a -- you've been given sovereignty and you're viewed as a sovereign entity. "

With such a concise definition of what it means to be soverighn...no wonder Iraq is so fucked up.
