Nofziger's legacy
Franklyn "Lyn" Nofziger, a former press secretary and political adviser to Ronald Reagan, has died at age 81.

Part of Nofziger's legacy, is his fierce partisanship and loyalty to Ronald Reagan.

He was so loyal, in fact, that he wanted to purge the federal government of all the Democrats, and replace them with Reagan cronies. Funny, that's exactly what's been happening at places like the Department of Justice, where career lawyers have been overruled and left out of the decision making, by the politicos who won't be there past January 2009.

John Dean has also said that Nofziger helped Richard Nixon put together his "enemie's list."

Sound like a man who served his country well! Not!

1. Him and Weinberger in the same day...
...if you can't say something nice about someone, don't say anything. What I have to say about both follows below.
