Please DU this ignorant poll. It's being freeped.

Wherever you stand on the issue of immigration, undocumented workers should not be hit with a felony for being here. However, the companies that systematically hire undocumented workers should!

I heard the Archbishop of Los Angeles speak on this issue this morning.

He does not believe it should be a felony because our government NEVER did anything about it for 20 some years and now they want to make it a felony.

He also said, the Church has always believed that you help everyone who is in need. That's why they visit the sick and those in prison.

He is more in favor of the Kennedy/McCain approach.

Let's see what happens.

12. I really don't think much can be accomplished

because the Senate and the draconian House bill are so far apart, but the House bill still concerns me greatly.

Good Idea! Charge them all with a felony. Try them and put them in jail.

Here's a couple of questions for all the right wingers that agree with this point of view. How much do you think that will cost? Are you going to pay for it now or will you shove this bill off on future generations like you're doing for the cost of the war in Iraq?

This is a Texas poll. A lot of Texans do not like Mexicans unless they are watching their children or mowing their lawns. This is a state full of bigotry.
