Help - weren't Dems supposed to be announcing their plan at 1 et?

Maybe it's my imagination - but doesn't it seem that George and the Dems talk at the same time too many times? Who scheduled this appearance first George or the Dems? Where is the coverage of the Dems? Correct me if I have it wrong.

C-Span announced it would be on the radio, no such luck, it disapeared..totally...Bush speech was planned when Rove found out about the Dems release of their PLAN. HOW Blatant is that...I am so mad I can spit....
Everyone write to C-Span...this is not a Democracy...they are stifling the media AGAIN...Can I say, they are going to review the speech going on now, so they can capitilize on their spin....OMG I am so MAD!!

Just heard the Dems Plan is being taped, to be shown later on C-Span....I think they changed their plan when they found out the Pres was speaking at the same time. I can't find it anywhere!!! grrrrrr

Today is an important moment for this country. America faces the greatest national security challenges of our generation. Great challenges call for real leadership, and that is why we are here today.


Before we begin, I understand President Bush is giving an Iraq speech right now. The president can give all the speeches he wants, but nothing will change the fact that his Iraq policy is wrong.


Two weeks ago, he told Americans that Iraqis would control their country by the end of the year. Last week, he told us our troops would be there until at least 2009. These mixed messages from President Bush are taking America in the wrong direction and jeopardizing Iraq's chances for success.
