Listening to G.W. Bush speak LITERALLY injures my brain
"I want the Iraqi people to hear I've got great confidence in their capacity to self govern," Bush said. "I also want the Iraqi people to hear - it's about time you get a unity government going. In other words, Americans understand you're newcomers to the political arena. But pretty soon its time to shut her down and get governing."

5. What even hurts the brain more is the way he insists that your not as
smart as he is and he feels the need to explain it to you as he would a 3 yo child. Though most 3 yo's are way more intelligent then shrub, he just has that insufferable drunk tendency to talk down to people who isn't on his alcohol level.

7. "If it weren't for my horse, I wouldn't have spent that year in college."
Bush comes up with a brand new aneurysm-provoking statement every speech. Often more than one.

25. You've noticed it too?
Just take a look at these:

"If a person doesn't have the capacity that we all want that person to have, I suspect hope is in the far distant future, if at all." —George W. Bush, May 22, 2001

"For every fatal shooting, there were roughly three non-fatal shootings. And, folks, this is unacceptable in America. It's just unacceptable. And we're going to do something about it." —George W. Bush, Philadelphia, Penn., May 14, 2001

"There's no question that the minute I got elected, the storm clouds on the horizon were getting nearly directly overhead." —George W. Bush, May 11, 2001

"But I also made it clear to (Vladimir Putin) that it's important to think beyond the old days of when we had the concept that if we blew each other up, the world would be safe." —George W. Bush, May 1, 2001

And my favorite......

"If I become president, we're going to have emergency-room care, we're going to have gag orders." —George W. Bush, third presidential debate, St. Louis, Missouri, Oct. 18, 2000

13. Yes, it hurts, it hurts, it hurts!
And it makes me cringe and want to crawl under the bed, or throw things at the teevee.

What makes me REALLY crazy is when he says, "The American people" as a preface to his freakin' gibberish. I do not want to be included in any stupid-ass thing that man says.

17. Yes, it does hurt.
Everytime he "invents" a word by adding -ed to the end when he should be changing the word completely, I cringe. Why is he so uneducated? When you stop and think about it, with all the money his dad has and had, an education at an Ivy League College, all the priveleges he has had access to, why is he still so ignorant? I don't understand it.

20. That's what I just don't get.
(I've posted on this many times, forgive me if I repeat myself.)

How could you have so many privileges and NOT learn something, if only social graces, for example?

Even the somewhat dim offspring of the wealthy often pick up good manners and a second language. What kind of critter WAS Bush, exactly, that wealth and fine schools rubbed off exactly nothing on him? I know his mother has no class of any kind, but hell, he's unbelievably shallow, rude, and ignorant.

When he came to this area, (I finally remembered the "word") he gave two speeches which were broadcast on the radio. They were exactly the same...sort of like a wind-up toy.

Anyway he kept saying "gooder". If I'd been anywhere near him, I'd either have been yelling Better! The word is better! at him or biting my tongue and sitting on both hands. It was awful. That's the type of thing that just drives me bonkers and needless to say, my kids would never have said anything that stupid.

I haven't listened to the dweeb in two years. I will now begin boycotting chimp transcripts as well. Life is too short. If he says something particularly dangerous, I'm sure I'll hear about it on DU.

That was just an amazing tour de force (on edit: should have said du jour since he was so enamored)of all of the unused cells in bush's itsy bitsy bikini brain. It was like watching a train wreck from every conceivable angle. The president is on spring break...:puke:

I just can't handle it. I remembered way back summer of 2000, when I first heard him on teevee, my whole body went into shock and I was getting sick to my tummy. Haven't listen to him since.
