Depending on how long it takes to put the flowers in vases I hope to have some pictures up this afternoon.

He's not a DUer, but when I called and asked if he could help with the flowers, he was thrilled to do so. Looking forward to seeing the pics!

You/we paid for a said service from a Million $$ company we don't care what their reasoning is, we want it fixed and want it done yesterday.

Who are you dealing with at Fed Ex Customer Service or upper management??

Get upper management on the horn ASAP and explain to them what I said in my first part here and then explain to them who Helen is.

If they have to have some sent from another store or something magical that is their problem(s) not ours.

When you pay for a service there is no way that you should be inconvenienced for their mess ups.

Sometimes you have to push to get what you paid for.

Keep up the good work I know you are busting your butt

Tell them that the news reports could very well highlight the FedEx SNAFU unless they put a move on it and get some vases there pronto.

than 6 or 7 - if unbroken, that is. Managers there are free to solve these problems in their own, fastest way. I imagine the vases are sitting right there at the nearest FedEx station. Just a matter of waiting for the first returning route - which will be about 2:00 - or available driver coming in the door for the afternoon shift (which would be right about now). A manager will then put them on that 1st available truck and send them out directly.

Now if the vases are stuck on a truck that is out of the area till 7:00, ask if that driver can meet-up with a driver returning to building, grab the vases and go directly to Helen's office. This is done all the time.

Just push. It'll get done far earlier than 7:00!

Talked to the CEO of Organic Bouquet - he said he does $1,000,000 worth a business with Fed Ex and someone in DC is being stubborn so he is pulling out the big guns with the top people at Fed-Ex to FIX THIS. He said the warehouse is only 10 MINUTES from her office!!!! He said if nothing else they'll get a damned taxi cab to go pick them up!!

The roses are all clean and in buckets so at least they have water.

wow............waht pigs. fed ex better understand not to fuck with us cause there are a lot of us that use them in business. hubby runs a computer business and uses them ALL the time. easy as pie to tell hubby i dont want them anymore

I am a 22 year FedEx employee and we do it all! We never even know what's in the packages. We pick up and deliver from anybody to anybody.

I have issues with the conpany, God knows, but it isn't THAT.

If it makes you feel better, one of our biggest goofs was the loss of a package sent by Nancy Reagan back in the 80's. Made the Wall Street Journal.

Also, Democratic friendlies are all through the company - still outnumbered - but growing!

i worked for coca cola for lots of years. they were always good to employees, i had always been loyal. now i am pissed because of their vault commercial and shooting hippies. i have been boycotting them and emailing them the last week. going into the local distributor tomorrow
