Forever losing your vote

What makes a candidate lose your vote forever? What can they do to win it back?

For me, I will never vote for anyone who:

1. Voted for the Patriotic act
2. Fails to vote for censure/impeachment of the Chimperor
3. Does not support drug policy reform

These are the coup de grace for my vote.

IMO, Congress did even worse than voting to invade Iraq. They voted to hand over their most sacred power--the power to declar war--to an unelected aristocrat. In so doing they violated the Constitution and should all be thrown out of office.

At least if they'd voted for war, they'd have had the integrity to make the decision for themselves. Instead, they said "Please, Mr. Bush. Save us from having to exercise our Constitutionally-granted power."

Cowards, all of them.

1. Fails to vote to put all the third-party voters in JAIL.
2. Fails to vote to hit all people who claim a litmus test with a FINE.
3. Fails to vote to put all the splinterist propagandists in GUANTANAMO BAY.

If you're a woman, that one issue is so central to your rights as a human being that it's a total dealbreaker for any Democrat to run on a resumption of reproductive slavery.

No antichoicer will ever get my vote. Period.

I am a disabled person and the Democratic Party is the party that is the most supportive of the rights of the disabled. Second I need stem cell research and I pray every night that SCR will get passed in the US and that I will once again be able to walk without the fear of falling. I know some people on this board find it funny that I pray for a cure but that and scr research are my only hopes of having a normal life.

So I will not vote for anyone who wishes to do away with social security or is against stem cell research. I simply have no love for any fundie (on anyside of the aisle) who thinks that a cell is more important than a living breathing human being.

I haven't seen many of your postings around here lately. Maybe I just missed them. How've you been?

Btw the speaker at the PAN event read the letter you helped me write. It went over huge thanks for the help.

I'm glad that your letter was able to reach a broader audience. Remember--it was your writing, and I just tweaked it here and there.

The continued support of faith based programs that shift our public taxes to religious organizations.

The continued support of W's banning money for family planning in third world nations.
