I was pulling my hair out right after November 2, '04 when Al had one MIT prof on saying all was AOK. He routinely minimized the election fraud issue and had never pursued it any further despite the droves of evidence that has come out to the contrary since then. Even though we all saw it coming long before.

One of the last interchanges I had with Andy was when he had just gotten off the phone with Gore Vidal. He said he wasn't prone to name dropping but he was pleased and privileged (paraphrasing) to drop Mr. Vidal's name.

I laughed because I had just seen a panel discussion wherein both Vidal and Franken were on the same panel and Vidal was totally well informed about the voter fraud. Franken was totally minimizing it and I said I would have wanted to (figuratively) wring Franken's neck.

I won't divulge what commentary followed out of intense respect for all three of the gentleman involved but it was wickedly funny.

Just hope he finally gets it now.
