He always attacks or releases videos just when Bush is in the deepest shit--when he wants to sell a war, get re-elected, or avoid impeachment.

Remember right before the election, bin laden released a tape just as right wing pundits were hitting the 9/11 button hard? Rush had photos on his website of people jumping out of the world trade center on his webpage.

The funny thing is, most people probably didn't notice what bin laden said, just that his picture was on TV, following Karl Rove's rule: the purpose of every public appearance should be obvious with the sound turned off.

:crazy: And unless Abramoff vanishes, the snoop scandal goes away and the Gulf coast gets a miracle I think you are right. All the scandals we have seen are but the tip of the iceberg. If my feelings are correct there are people on the inside slowly leaking information out and we will see even more stuff come to light in the near future. Like the poster above said, you know what happens when you back a rat into a corner...

You know, I have been possessed of the same thoughts recently.

It would not surprise at all if the following scenario happened (in this order):

1) Congress gets the balls to impeach GW
2) GW has to be forcibly removed from the White House (I really don't expect him to leave without a fight, even in '08)
3) A nuclear weapon is detonated in the US and blamed (questionably) on international terrorists
4) GW tells America "I told you so." and "I guess you shouldn't have impeached me."

This is becoming the second scariest place in the world to live (next to the middle east). I just hope these thoughts are based in those fears and not a precognition of things to come.
