RICHLAND, Wash-- Protestors from Tri-Cities Lab lined Stevens Dr. asking for a better contract, but they weren't the only protestors.

In April, TCL employees in the United Food and Commercial Workers Union voted to reject a new contract, now they've taken to the streets, but so have other workers that disagree.

TCL provides some of the lab work for the three hospitals in the Tri-Cities. Right now the company is divided between union workers on one side who say they want better wages and benefits. There's also workers on one side saying the status quo is just fine.

UFCW union members say they are paid $2 to $3 less at TCL than similar labs in the State of Washington. TCL employee Gidget Silvers hopes the informational picket sends their management a message.
