2. K&R
Courageous voice in the wilderness. Most of the rest of the sorry asses in that chamber can't even begin to honestly answer his simple question. :grr:

3. It's time for Dennis to endorse Obama
I know his district voted for Hillary, but I think it's clear who the real anti-war candidate is in this race now.

7. No it's not. Dennis probably won't endorse.
Neither of the current candidates are anti-war.

11. Kucinich will endorse whomever gets the nomination
Edited on Fri May-09-08 04:28 AM by cyclezealot
that is all he need do. In spite of the fact their health care plans suck and often both Obama and Hillary sound like they are pretty darn warlike. Obama wants to increase Military spending. My enthusism for Obama needs a little bolstering, but I doubt Obama's rhetoric will be any source of inspiration. / A thought. If some how Hillary got the nomination. After her Iran speech, maybe Kucinich will remain silent after Denver and work for no one. Can we blame him? Just speculation. It was a Hillary low point. ?

16. Did you forget that little problem with the oath in Texas?
Edited on Fri May-09-08 09:27 AM by stimbox
I thought that Dennis, rightly, refused to sign the Democratic party loyalty oath.

Here it is:

18. The flirtation with Paul was bs.
just wild speculation by Elizabeth. As to the loyalty oath thing. Hillary threatening to bomb Iran; I don't blame him. But, in the end he likely will fall somewhat in line as he did in 2004 behind Kerry.

19. Dennis endorsed Obama for the Iowa race when he had to drop out to go
tend to his own re-election campaign.

At the time, many people were angry at him for endorsing Obama instead of Edwards - who he had endorsed in 2004.

It would be fine with me if he endorsed Obama now, I am just pointing out that he did take a brave and decent stand months ago in Iowa and may have contributed in some small way to Obama's margin of victory.

6. Kucinich endorsing anyone of these candidates is selling himself off....
No, Dennis doesn't need to endorse Barack or Hillary or mcAncient or anybody. He laid out his platform, and the American voters turned their backs.

Thank God he still has his voice in Congress. Maybe he'll shake some of the other sleeping, do nothing, lock step Democrats and repugs out of their trees.

This man is making history, and the rest of the politicians....mcAncient, Clinton and Obama, are all coming up short. We know who Dennis supports. He supports the American Constitution and the American people.

10. He said he would support the nominee if he/she did not use war as an instrument of foreign policy
And I believe Obama meets that test.

12. how can America turn their back on his plan
when first he was denied adequate time in order for Blitzer to present the Hillary / Obama show. We would not want to detract from the real show for an exchange of ideas, for god's sake. / Two- when Kucinich was allowed to speak it was either a pointed question designed to embarass him, or else later faced Blitzer's two faced rebuttal. The debates were about Blitzer, not the candidates.

13. "the American voters turned their backs"
Edited on Fri May-09-08 07:59 AM by awoke_in_2003
They did no such thing. Dennis got almost no coverage in the media, and was given little time in the debates. John Edwards got a little more coverage, but he, too, was largely ignored. The media wanted an Obama/Clinton race, so that is who we heard about. Dennis is a good guy, and he tells the truth. The media does not want to us to hear the truth.

on edit- truth does not make ratings, huge pissing matches do.
