If mothers are so important that Obama feels the need to pander to them, then vote for someone who actually IS a mother!

That were very hearttfelt words about his mom.

Let's remember that McCain, Limbaugh, et al. made jokes about Chelsea (who's the best First Daughter we'ver ever had). Yet Hillary seems to be closer to those (of the other party who did it for nothing more than viewers, listeners, etc.) who slammed her young daughter than she is to a man who was raised by a single mother, on food stamps. Sorry. Hillary as mom doesn't wash. I'm a single mom. And if anyone ever said the things about my daughter that were said about Chelsea, not only would I not appear on the same stage with them, I would roundly denounce them and anything else I could think of outside of downright violence (which I would eschew only because I wouldn't want my daughter to be left alone).

Barack and Michelle obviously have a very stable home life. I voted for Bill Clinton twice, and also volunteered. And I got pissed every time a new scandal came up. Because they kept coming up. And I'm not speaking of Whitewater. Chelsea is Chelsea DESPITE her parents. There really are some kids who do that. There were scandals and innuendos about the Clintons way back in their life in Arkansas. Which I really didn't care about. But the GOPhers and Starr did. And we are letting that kind of people do the same thing to the Obamas.

You don't see that about the Obamas. Nothing. The worst thing you can say about Barack is his minister and a guy he's on a board with who was a 60's radical and is now a very esteemed and respected advocate for children.

I'm 59. Which means the late 60's and early 70's were my heydey.

I realize now I should have used the sarcasm tag because - as God as my witness - what I wrote really is exactly what a Hillbot might say. Now that I read it again, I realize it isn't anywhere near as over-the-top as I thought it was, in comparison to the Hillbots.

I should have been more clear. Or reached for a higher level of ridiculousness.

It is hard to believe the next President of this country would say that on public television.
It makes me feel as if I have choosen the right candidate to assist on this goal, thank you Obama for reminding us all of the importance of mothers.

It's just that his mom is as much a total heartless cruel fucking psychotic bitch as Shrubbie is.

Kiss and hug your mothers. Reconcile if you can. Nothing is more terrible than being without a mother and father.
