Chris Matthews shreds right wing talker Kevin James on Hardball who can't tell him what Neville Chamberlain did wrong even though he's trying to use Chamberlain as a right wing talking point.

but in his case(James) he goes on to make an utter ASS of himself....This the result of Ignorant Stridency and Hardheadedness......

I Loved it....Them Pubs are grasping at straws...ignoring the big issues......

Do they think that the louder they talk, the more right they are?

It's so annoying. Matthews showed how much of an idiot that guy was.

1. Memorize set of talking points framing conservatives as always right. Be sure to include words that incite people's emotions against anyone who disagrees with this view.

2. Speak the talking points as loudly as possible. Drown others out if necessary. Interrupt if necessary.

3. Repeat as many times as needed in order to convince others of your correctness.

4. Do not deviate.

(Note there is no need to have any actual knowledge of your topic. Just repeat the talking points, and hammer on the emotional words, as loudly and frequently as possible.)

I've seen every right wing talk show host use every item you've outlined.

I'd never heard of this dirtbag before. Whenever someone went off on Kevin James I really thought the King of Queens guy was becoming a republicon talking head.

....I knew the minute he started speaking that he didn't know what he was talking about! So I muted the TV during the parts when he was speaking and turned the sound on when Chris and Green were talking.

I just saw the replay on Abrams and Chris did a great job!! Now I know what he meant when he went to commercial and said he was doing sideshow next and that he felt like he had already done sideshow!!

Intelligent, thoughtful, and dignified in the midst of that mess. Way to go Mr. Green.

why I should be embarrassed, eludes me, perhaps it's because it shows the incredible ignorance some Americans have about history, but I sat here amazed at what was transpiring before my eyes.

I love history, and what I saw was profound ignorance, being covered up by an increasingly belligerent jerk that could do nothing to bolster his argument, so he went into bully mode...nothing like repeating the same thing, louder and more aggressively each time, and hoping someone will finally get disgusted and just move on. Well, that almost happened, but the very rare occasion when Tweety allowed someone to respond at length, James just kept on digging his grave.

I looked all over to find an e-mail addy to send Mr. James a note of thanks, but trying to get a hold of him seems to be an act of despair, I could find nothing, and all I wanted to do was express my appreciation to him for showing the world that the RW'ers just don't have a clue.

I was going to post a historical situation, but most of us know what happened. In short, part of Czechoslovakia was ceded to Germany, and that act emboldened Hitler. The Czechs were none to happy about it, neither were the Poles on Sept 1, 1939.

Chamberlain misread the situation; but so did the R's in the US Congress...for it was they who did all they could to deny funding for upgrading our military under FDR. Odd how that is never mentioned. FDR knew what was happening, and the R's fought tooth and nail to remain isolationist, forcing FDR to work with an antiquated military, while trying to prepare for our inevitable involvement in WWII.

They've been comparing diplomacy to appeasement for the last few years.

I mean, I knew the right had some incredibly backwards and ignorant people. I just didn't know they let them on the air in such numbers. Can't they find any intelligent and knowleable people on the right? I guess in their world it really is who you know, and not what you know.

I wish I could listen to radio that ISN'T right wing. NPR is all right wing hacks (just like FIX news) where I live, and I see people here defending it...confuses me.
