Edited on Wed May-21-08 03:01 PM by xxqqqzme
Hoping to put them on the defensive during the GE campaign & go extra easy on mclame. Must have been the instruction @ the weekly norquist meeting.

I'd love to be able to poke saurove to see how flabby he really is.

2. Rove's tactics.

Do not attack your opponent's weaknesses, attack their strengths.

How could Bush beat Kerry on military record? Impossible. Unless you figure out a way to diminish one record, and ignore the other.

He's the one that bugged his office in Texas and blamed his opponents for it.

5. How may sources have I encountered
that state that Amadeenajad (sorry for the phonetic recreation) did not say he would wipe Israel off the map. That is some kind of a misstatement that grew legs and has been the basis for the whole US foreign policy ever since. It had something to do with if they were attacked by Israel first, or something. Those Republicans and the psyops campaign against the American public is sick, wrong, and dangerous. Liars! Yes, the shizakoffs are hypocrites.

6. More radical right wing projection.
The reichians can't stop accusing the other side of the worst that they themselves do.

Sociopathology.

8. Standard GOP/Rove tactic - projection
They project there own bad behavior on to the Dems. Of course when this happens at a personal
level, people dont' generally realize they are "projecting" there own behavior/fears on to others. In the case of Rove/GOP it is intentional, designed to fool the masses and make white seem like black and up seem like down.

9. This is not ironic it is typical right wing hypocrisy. The fact that Rove can keep a straight face
as he talks in this way is just more proof he has no soul, moral compass and that he is in fact a sociopath.

The fact that this conversation and many more like it take place on our main stream media unchallenged is testimony to how dangerous a sociopath Rove is and how much damage he has accomplished.

The sooner people understand that the "news" is no longer real news the better. The irony would be if Rove's over inflated ego and big mouth should be the wake up call the people need to show them what a sham the news has become.

11. Who are you going to believe...
Karl Rove and Laura Ingram or your own lying eyes? Just putting Bush's never-ending war aside, people know what they are paying now for gasoline and they know how hard it is to find a job, especially if they are over the age of 50, when so many tech jobs have been exported to foreign countries. Americans are just one stroke or tumor away from total financial ruin. Obermann, Matthews, et. al. are merely reflecting what we all know to be true.

13. There so much...
... crap here.

I think it is Fox's response to losing audience. The Foxbots have to be told that only Fox is "fair and balanced".

Even the White House is participating.

Repeat after me...

The Surge is working...
The Economy is great....
Fox is fair and balanced...

The Surge is working...
The Economy is great....
Fox is fair and balanced...

The Surge is working...
The Economy is great....
Fox is fair and balanced...

...must hold on to the 23 percent.

15. Boy, is that rich or what?
Laura Ingraham, a freelance right wing propagandist, and Karl Rove, the White House political hatchet man who used Laura Ingraham and people like her as a privatized Pravda, conplaining on FoxNews (of all places!) of how the line between news and commentary has become blurred.

Channel the ghost of Spiro Agnew already.

The two of them cited calling the situation in Iraq a civil like there's something wrong with it. What, for instance? And then they complain that Mr. Engel gives no credit to the surge in Iraq. Inquiring minds want to know: For what? There is nothing any more wrong with calling the present strife in Iraq a civil war or stating that the surge fell far short of its goals than there is is calling a duck a bird, a cat a mammal or Karl Rove a liar.

And just who does Rover think he is to say the NBC owes the American people an apology for misleading them? Speak for yourself, Rover.

Watch that video is healthy. It exceeds the minimum daily nutritional amount of irony.

16. I know! The whole thing beggars belief.
What's the scandal they're supposedly so exorcised about? That NBC didn't play President Bush saying that we had to listen to Iran? Pfffft. This isn't about that interview at all. It's about the fact that MSNBC is rising as a competitor to Fox is which unbowed to their conservative orthodoxy.

This is the Bush Admin's way of sending a warning shot across the bough of NBC News, and telling them that they'd better learn how to toe the conservative line, or else.

It's disgusting to see a sitting president use his office in this way. But what else is new with Bush? Just when you think his team of jackals can't sink any lower, they do.

I have to think that even the Fox watchers weren't buying this one.
