Obama is scheduled to deliver the commencement speech in place of Senator Ted Kennedy, who had to back out last week when he was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor.

WTNH.com will stream Obama's address live. The feed should begin shortly before 11:00 a.m.

1. It is so cool that Obama stepped in this way. Weslyan is a very nice school,

one of the "little Ivies," but not Harvard or Yale. It is wonderful that he agreed to do this on such brief notice. The Weslyan students must be totally psyched!

It's a graduation so that could be 11:45 or 12:35 -- except for the fact that I would think that his schedulers would require the University to get him to the podium on time so he can get on to his next destination.
