The mainstream media & political pundits have been busy lately suggesting "something could happen" or "barring some catastrophic event" that would end Obama's nomination for the presidency.

more likely they're going for drama

at worst they're keeping the idea out there to scare people away from Obama for his own sake.

5. I hate to said this...
but if you get the chance to see Obama at any events, you keep an eye on the crowd too. And if the security isn't what it must be(no metal detectors, no searches, etc...) said something.
Shoot, sound like I'm rooting for a police state-we've had too many people shot in my lifetime because they took a stand.:hide:

In my 52 years, I've never heard the MSM or political pundits talk about the assassination of a political candidate BEFORE it possibly happens. This is taking things to an entirely new level.

10. She was the talk of DU last night
She apparently was on Fox, talking about Obama being "knocked off" and called him Osama instead. Then she said well "both if we could do it." She's scum of the earth.

13. I hope that Obama has his own security team
along with Secret Service.

I think that Obama is the future of this country and I don't want to even contemplate what might happen should we not get him as president.

I worry that bushco and the repubs own all the government agencies including ones you would expect to be neutral like the SS. I can just imagine the selection process for Obama's detail. :(

I hope those fears are unfounded and rediculous.

I want 8 years of Obama with a Democratic congress and a few new liberal supreme court judges so that we might repair a bit of the massive damage that's been done to the country.

16. Many believe ending the war was what got Lincoln killed.
Before his assassination. Lincoln had signed a trading with the enemy's act. That was to stop the war profiteering so the civil war could end. Profiteers will kill to keep those huge piles of easy money from comming to an end.
